Out of Print – Classic Book Covers T-Shirts

As a literature geek, as well as all other kinds of geek, I was happy to discover “Out of Print” which offers t-shirts that are based on out-of-print and/or classic book covers. Although I have a geek’s minor quibbles -I’d prefer the olympia Lolita cover or this one over the current one, and would like to see a Saul bellow cover (you’re telling me this wouldn’t make a great tee? or this?) – I love the idea and feel that it’s a deal that works in all directions – concept, execution, aesthetics. Now all I need is a time machine. Thumbs up.

Rumple is a small vancouver t-shirt company that has just launched their website, and already have more than a few designs up.

Like the previous Jeremy fish post has proved, I’m a fan of sketchs on t-shirts, and Rumple has provided me with more material for sketch-craving.

I love the quirky and ironic (please forgive me for using that word, but in this context, it’s the right one) of the characters they feature on the shirts.

Upper Playground – Jeremy Fish’s superFishal tees

Upper Playground are releasing a new line of t-shirts, designed by jeremy fish, the genius designer who made this. The new line is a continuation of Fish’s aesthetics and themes – combining the urban and mythical – and offers four t-shirts, 3 of them are simply excellent, and one that feels like a generic I-am-hip-hop representation. Let’s see if you can spot the odd one.

Hint – It’s the last one. Anyhow, I would proudly support (and in this case sport) anything that he has a hand in, and in this case Upper Playground did a pretty good job of transfering his art into the medium. So, yeah, I’m buying.
